Having unmarked 9.875-inch / 25-cm drop forged steel and nickel plated blade retaining strong cross-grain pattern throughout, uniformly finished cast alloy fittings, guard retaining buffer pad, WKC Type 4 style "tomahawk" / "hatchet" / "axe" variation of Wehrmacht eagle clutching wreath on obverse, oak leaf ferrule and "12 leaf" pommel, white / ivory tone molded celluloid grip with angled grooves and correct naval / army metallic silver tone fabric portapee; magnetic metal scabbard having dual suspension rings secured by oak leaf bands, retaining single throat screw on same edge as rings and having pebbled panels to obverse and reverse
