1864, having 34.75-inch blade dated and marked "U.S." and "J.C.W." on ricasso with "Mansfield & Lamb Foresdale, R.I." within an oval mark on opposite side of ricasso, including (2) fullers of different lengths and widths mirrored on either side of blade, twisted wire wrapped over leather grip, with brass guard including (3) branches and retaining leather buffer pad and pommel marked "W" on one side and "E.W" on other, plain steel scabbard unmarked, having (2) D-rings and natural patina
