Jar and lid both having underglaze blue 6-character Ming Xuande marks to undersides, underglaze blue pictorial decoration on a yellow ground depicting a procession leaving a house, the lid having a prunus motif centering a blue glass bead finial attached using a knotted silk cord through a hole in the lid
