Shinogi zukuri blade having 27-inch cutting edge from kissaki to single-piece copper habaki and 35-inches from kissaki to nakagojiri, blade having a chu kissaki with notare hamon throughout including nioi and a medium turn-back at boshi; nakago having (2) mekugi ana with mei reading "Bishu (Bizen) Osafune ju Naga Yoshi"; koshirae having WWII IJA elements including leather over wood combat zone saya, tsuka having brown ito over single piece of same, including brown and blue officer's tassel; fuchi, kashira and menuki all non-regulation style having dragons instead of cherry blossoms and fuchi retaining leather cover; signed round tsuba having floral motif including numerous shakudo highlights on both sides and (2) lines of text on each side of the nakago slit reading "Mito ju Michi Naga (Michi Toshi)"
